About this Journey

This 7-day calving season safari explores northern Tanzania during the Great Migration birthing period, with scheduled travel noted for December to March and June to October. The journey begins with arrival in Arusha before flying to the Central Serengeti for private game drives around the wildlife-rich Seronera Valley. It then continues to the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu area, where wildebeest herds gather to give birth and predators follow the abundance of prey. After several days on the plains, the safari travels through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Karatu and finishes with a full crater-floor game drive before returning to Arusha and Kilimanjaro International Airport.
